Most BS programs are of four yearsā duration, comprising eight semesters. However, the BS (DPT) program extends over five years, consisting of ten semesters. Each semester spans 18 weeks, including 16 weeks of instruction and two weeks allocated for midterm and final examinations. The standard duration for completion of an MS program is two years from the date of enrollment.
Change of academic program is generally discouraged; however, it may be permitted within the first two weeks of the first semester, subject to the recommendation of the concerned Chairperson(s) and approval of the relevant Dean(s). Such a change is contingent upon fulfillment of the prescribed eligibility criteria, availability of seats, and the condition that the studentās merit must be higher than that of the last candidate admitted to the desired program.
Freezing of a semester is not permitted during the first semester of a program. However, after completion of the first semester, a student may apply to freeze for a maximum of two semesters over the entire duration of the program.
