1 – Career Counseling Unit

Selection of the right career is one of the most important and life changing decisions in a student’s life. If it is not taken serious enough, it may result in a life time regret, irritation and restlessness. But proper guidance by a professional educational advisor at this stage, leads a student to the road to success. The Career Counseling Unit of the University of Loralai has been established to provide the students with an opportunity to develop better sense of selection of profession and path and give them exposure to markets and corporate trends and provide necessary skills to increase their employability skills during their stay at university.

We would like to extend a warm welcome to all those visiting CCU including admission seeking students. We look forward for working with you throughout your university life. We strive for excellence, and in doing so, we hope to provide the student with the help and support that will ensure their educational and professional development. Objectives

Following are the objectives for the establishment of Career Counseling Unit:

• To help students find out their unique potential.
• To understand their strengths and weaknesses.
• To learn self-assessment and develop desired skills.
• To select and progress in the field of their interest.
• To understand the market forces influencing their choices.
• To understand and deal with the social pressures; contradictions between interest and social pressure, which ultimately influence them to make their choices.
• To develop an attitude for gaining the knowledge and its application at work place.
• Importance of capacity, achievement, and relationships at work place.

CCU has planned and designed various activities to help our undergraduates, graduates, and alumni to enhance their educational, professional and personal skills. Some of the activities include;

2 – ORIC

About ORIC

The Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (ORIC) at University of Loralai (UoLi) is being established in compliance with the directives of the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. The ORIC provides strategic, operational support, and resources to promote integrated scholarly activity throughout the institution. The ORIC also provides a platform of university- industry linkages to increase the external funding at local, regional and federal partners in order to ensure the growth of Pakistan’s economy in line with research outcomes.

ORIC-UoLi supports the UoLi’s vision of lifelong learning, as well as its long-term goal of seeking high quality research, innovation and commercialization which believes in the engagement of societal impact.

Mission

ORIC-UoLi aims to encourage and accelerate the process of creation and diffusion of knowledge. ORIC-UoLi is dedicated towards promoting and strengthening the research culture and welfare activities for academia, industry and society both locally and globally.

4 – Controller of examinations office

The Controller of Examinations Office plays a pivotal role in overseeing and managing all aspects pertaining to examinations. This vital administrative office is responsible for a wide range of tasks associated with the examination process. It is in charge of exam scheduling and organization, ensuring that they are fair and organized. The office is responsible for the development and delivery of examination materials such as question papers and answer sheets, as well as guaranteeing their secrecy and security. Furthermore, the Controller of Examinations Office supervises the assessment and grading process, ensuring accuracy and the integrity of the results. This office supports the seamless operation of exams by paying great attention to detail and committing to maintaining high standards. It promotes a transparent and merit-based evaluation system.
